We pride ourselves on having a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate team who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support. Every team member is carefully selected based on their values, empathy, and ability to promote independence in others. All staff complete the Care Certificate as part of their induction and undergo continuous professional development tailored to the needs of the people we support.

Our staff receive specialist training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) to ensure they can safely and respectfully respond to a wide range of behaviours while upholding dignity and trust. Many members of our team are also qualified in Health and Social Care NVQs (Level 2–5), and we actively support progression toward senior roles and further learning. In addition, our services are supported by qualified professionals, including social workers, mental health specialists, and multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring a well-rounded and clinically informed approach.

Supervision, reflective practice, and regular training updates are mandatory at Brookhaven. This ensures consistency across our services, promotes emotional resilience among staff, and maintains a strong culture of accountability, growth, and compassion. Our team doesn’t just work for you—they work with you, helping you live a life that reflects your choices, values, and goals.

We believe that a strong, united team leads to exceptional care. That’s why we invest in regular team-building activities, staff appreciation events, and open communication. By fostering a culture of trust, growth, and mutual respect, we ensure that every team member feels connected, motivated, and proud to be part of the Brookhaven family. Together, we are more than a care team — we are a family committed to helping others live with dignity, purpose, and joy.
